Harry Potter fans, rejoice – tomorrow a whole new world opens at Universal Orlando Resort! Let’s take a peek inside, shall we?

First, let me make a confession: I’m a Harry Potter neophyte. Sure, I have a general idea of the storyline and the main characters, but beyond that, nothing. When I had the chance to go behind the scenes and help out at the media preview a few weeks ago, I was thrown into a world I knew little about, and left wanting to know more.

Enough about that – let’s take a look inside!

One of the best ways to arrive at Diagon Alley is via the Hogwarts Express. Grab your Park admission ticket and climb aboard in Hogsmeade Station, inside Universal’s Islands of Adventure right next door to Universal Orlando Resort. You’ll soon arrive at Platform 9 3/4 in London’s King’s Cross Station. The train runs the other way, too… ride both ways!

When you do take that return trip from Diagon Alley to Hogsmeade, get to the 9 3/4 Platform the same way Harry did… through the wall!

Once inside Diagon Alley, fun, surprises and incredible attention to detail await! I don’t want to giveaway too much, so here’s just a peak at what you’ll find inside.

There’s just so much more to see in Diagon Alley, and Horizont Alley. Oh, and then there’s the new ride, Harry Potter and the Escape from Gringotts! I had a chance to ride during the media preview and all I can say is, HOLY COW!

Whether you fly, drive, bike, teleport, or hop aboard the Hogwarts Express, be sure and pay a visit to Diagon Alley. And regardless of what they say, muggles are indeed welcome!

What part of Diagon Alley are you most looking forward to exploring?
