Such fun with Stephanie and guest co-host Sean Daly chatting about Florida resident travel deals to get us through the last weeks of summer and into fall! Check out the clip here!
As I posted a few weeks ago, I was selected to be a part of a blogger group to write about Marriott properties throughout Florida as part of the “Wish You Were Here – Florida” campaign. Just last week, I stayed a few nights at the Courtyard Tampa Westshore/Airport, just a few miles from my home, and had a nice little working staycation.
Today is National Dog Day, and it’s time to celebrate our beloved four-legged friends. Of course, in our house, every day is a day to celebrate our pup, Lucy!
Harry Potter fans, rejoice – tomorrow a whole new world opens at Universal Orlando Resort! Let’s take a peek inside, shall we?
First, let me make a confession: I’m a Harry Potter neophyte. Sure, I have a general idea of the storyline and the main characters, but beyond that, nothing. Tomorrow’s Earth Day, and there are plenty of ways – and places – to celebrate. In the U.S., we’re fortunate to have some incredible national treasures, our national parks. Coincidentally – maybe not? – this is National Park Week. Well, now through April 27, so it’s a bit longer than a week. Plenty of reason to celebrate! National Park Week is a presidentially-proclaimed celebration of our national heritage.
There’s more than golf in Augusta, Georgia. This piece I wrote for GirlsGetaway.com still rings true!
There are many benefits of being a travel writer, that’s for certain. Traveling to destinations near and far, exotic and urban, warm and cold. Trying new, crazy things, like bobsledding on an Olympic course, zip lining high above the ground below, flying along the Road to Hana, or swimming with whale sharks. Traveling is an adventure, and I’m thrilled that I’ve followed my dream to be a travel writer – to experience just these types of things, and to share with you.
At this point, how many versions of the Polar Vortex have swept across the U.S. this year? And on top of Snowmageddon? Enough’s enough, right?
